    That was indeed the very car, however unfortunately I can not answer your questions about the build sheet I my self do not know. My best guess is that somehow the build sheets got switched with our at the time other 69 polara but I don’t think it was because it was a base model 69 polara A4...

    ...the line workers threw the build sheet of DM23G9F100688 in whatever car was closest, and in this case it was your Dad's Polara 500 (DM23G9F100612). Given how close the VIN sequences are, and the fact that both cars were built at the Newark, DE plant (F code in the VIN), that's my best guess...

    ...The asking price is 18,300 euros (add 15-20% for a USD equivalent). From the markings, I am 99.99% sure that this is DM23G9F100612 -- a car that was for sale at Carlisle last year (the asking price was $13.5k) but did not sell then. It was sold on eBay in November: see this thread...
