NOT MINE 1970 Plymouth Fury 4dr 383 POLICE? $2,000 in Annville, PA (FB)

My 2008 has 19,000 miles. It was in service but never really on patrol. LONG story about this one....lol. Now that my new truck won't be built until March, I have been driving it. It is like NEW!

    Tool tips

I agree. I bought Harbor Freight wrenches in the 80's because a guy I work with said "when they break, throw them in the metal bin". They did but being a "junk man" I saved them. 30+ years later I found out they are Lifetime Warranty. I brought them back and I got new ones that were much better...

NOT MINE 1970 Plymouth Fury 4dr 383 POLICE? $2,000 in Annville, PA (FB)

The problem with doing this is parts. Yes, they can rely on salvaging parts from XXX cars, and if their Materials Manager is sharp, they may have known what to stockpile, but Ford doesn't support that car any longer and most parts have been discontinued and are hard to source.

    Tool tips

I have seen people use pliers for the hold downs and a mini vice grip for the return springs. HOWEVER, I DON"T LIKE THAT. Some more classic pictures

Alot of interesting things to see here! That looks like Peter Falk (Columbo) driving the Step-Van, A Dodge Polara Taxi (seemed in NYC if it wasn't a Checker, it was a Dodge), a GM "Fishbowl" bus with wings, and Gimbels (anyone watch Elf lately?).
