    Finned drums

From what I've seen on Rockauto in terms of rear drums, they list a small variety of 2-inch drums that are 1969 and up, which have different P/N as the 2-inch drums for 1968 and down. I think one difference is that 1969 and up have fins. I have found that the finned drums still mount fine on...

    Finned drums

Your left (driver's side) front studs are right-hand thread, yes that means the studs were changed. Can you separate (remove) that drum from the hub? I think normally if the front studs have been changed it will mean that the drums will now be (relatively) easily removable. Or - it means...

    finding my old 1968 chrysler

Maybe this will work: https://www.autocheck.com/vehiclehistory/search-by-license-plate Maybe each state has it's own way for the public to check on a car's registration history based on VIN?

New member intro – question about 1973 Monaco exposed quad headlight cars

I see now that the Dodge/Polara section has 27 pages, but they start at page 87 and run to 114. Not all pages have page numbers. The Brougham package does not have any options relating to front headlights hidden / not hidden. Am I right that in 73 the Monaco's had hidden headlights but the...

New member intro – question about 1973 Monaco exposed quad headlight cars

Maybe have a look here: https://www.hamtramck-historical.com/dealerships/1973DealershipDataBook-07.shtml 1973 Polara's had exposed headlights, the Monaco's had hidden lights (according to the pages there). The data book is supposed to have over 100 pages, but I think only the first 26 are...

WANTED 1967 Furylll Sport Upper control arm

You might want to say in the title of this thread that you're in New Zealand. It would attract the Australian members here. I'd ask if you're looking for driver or passenger side, but that might be the wrong question to ask...

NOT MINE 1966 Dodge Polara Convertible 383 Houston TX $10.5k

In 1966 (and 67) the VIN is in the door jamb, as seen in the photo above. Plant is Belvedere (7'th digit in the VIN). Yes, a photo of the dash would show actual Monaco / Polara instrument cluster, not Fury.

NOT MINE 1969 Monaco Convertible - Thames Centre, Ontario - Best Offer

This is somewhat close to me (turns out to be 6 miles). I've sent a message asking where the car is, and if I can get a pic of the tag and VIN. Where would a car like this rank on the desirability / collectability totem pole ?

Searching for return line on fuel system

Are you thinking that a vent line is a return line? Some tanks have 2 vent lines. Back in the early 60's I highly doubt any cars had return lines. Because why? Vapor lock?

    Our 67 ragtop

Your TRM code (on the fender tag or plate) is H6R. The H is trim "grade" - H = high. The 6 is Vinyl bucket seats. The R is the interior color - Red. I don't think it came with a radio. There's nothing under the R on the second line. a6 = center console b4 = front bucket seats h7 =...

    Our 67 ragtop

Your car was repainted at some point. The factory color was black. It's highly likey they filled in all the trim holes and antenna hole and moved the antenna hole to the rear fender. It might be that the original side trim was not in good shape and they decided it was not going back on after...

    Our 67 ragtop

I thought I saw in another photo the thin chrome strip on the trunk in the center under the letters. Looks like you don't have backup lights - housings or maybe just the lenses are missing. Somewhat odd to see front bumper guards but not the rears. Unless you're looking for 1000% correct...

    Our 67 ragtop

You have Polara tail lights. The Monaco 500 had "MONACO" spelled out on the back, and it had the short piece of trim under the letters. Regular Canadian Monaco's, and all US/Canadian Polara's, had DODGE letters on the trunk, and no short piece of trim. I highly doubt that your tail lights are...

    Our 67 ragtop

Is this the car? It has what must be an incorrect configuration - Polara front grill with Monaco tail lights. Nothing wrong with that, but just FYI. 383 2-bbl. Was originally painted black. W6 (remind me - that is made in Canada? Or made in Canada for US export?)...
