This is somewhat close to me (turns out to be 6 miles). I've sent a message asking where the car is, and if I can get a pic of the tag and VIN. Where would a car like this rank on the desirability / collectability totem pole ?

Thank you for posting here if you get more info. Not clear to me what the ranking is -- too many unknowns, including the interior and rust condition. The 318 hurts desirability, the paint color (IF original) helps. If the original paint is X9 or B9, that would IMHO help.

@polara71 and @71Polara383 may be able to chime in.

PS: The photo of the underside looks good to my eye, but it looks like the trunk lock is missing. Wheels clearly not original.

All I've managed to get so far is bucket seats no console, column shifted. Has keys, admits trunk cylinder is out.

So weird that he took it through a car wash - with the top in that shape. Suggests to me the interior must be rough, thought he body looks pretty solid.

I think these Monaco convertibles are pretty rare, no? Not many made.

The interior is probably rough, at least in the rear seat. Looks like he kept the spray generally away from the back window.

The numbers are under 500. Drawing a blank on the actual but yes, very rare. Canadian only.
