Does the current owner have any knowledge about the car's past, e.g. who was the first owner?

How many 1970 300 convertibles are left in the USA?

Perhaps that's the US total, and Canada and export cars made up the rest. I can't believe James spelled convertible convertable.

NOT MINE 1973 Chrysler Town & Country

Honestly this is the best possible outcome for this catastrophe of a wagon. Hope you can figure something out.

How many 1970 300 convertibles are left in the USA?

1,077 total less 903 sold (presuming shipped to US dealers as indicated on SG 30 report) leaves a not unreasonable 174 destined for sale in Canada and Export.

For Sale More Nos c body parts and stuff

The clear backup lens above seems to be for "1969-71 Dodge Truck B Series Vans". The 2809126 tail lens is for "1968 Fury I 4d Export Fury III" but there might have originally been more in the box (gasket and clear lens and other trim pieces) based on what I see on ebay.

    Dealership code question.

From my data, some blocks were differently populated, though. The time frame may make a difference here. 0XXXX: Check. 2XXXX: Dodge, with something special about them (trucks, performance?). There were not that many around. 4XXXX: Check; the oldest orig. date I found in this block is 08-64...

Is anyone else depressed looking at new vehicles?

...They keep the best for their domestic markets and ship the crap overseas. Keep in mind, the child slave labor uses to build much of what they export. Look for an "L" as the first character of the VIN, that indicates the vehicle was built in Red China. And, yes, the Envision and a couple of...

Exporting Cars Out of Canada: Not Allowed?

Have a read here... Assessment Tool – Exporting Antique Vehicles - Canada.ca This applies to someone exporting a vehicle 50 years old or more, but I don't know how/if it applies to non-residents purchasing here and then taking it out themselves.

Canadian Vs US differences in 67

Just an FYI. When I ordered my 76 D300 I ticked the box for the no-charge metric speedo option since the change was coming. That unit was km/kmh only, no dual markings. That led to interesting discussions concerning warranty work.

    Broadcast Sheet Question

...were numerous two digit numbers and associated notations used at the bottom of broadcast sheets. For MY 1972, 01 = SPECIAL HANDLING, 08 = EXPORT, 10 = SPECIAL TRIM, 17 = SPECIAL ORDER, etc. These same codes were used at the various plants. I'm sure there are many more codes, one is likely...

    Dimmer switch for '69

In British literature lheadlights are "dipped" not "dimmed". Thier cars are equipped with "Left dip" lights for use in England, and "right dip" for export. British motor cycles had "vertical dip" lights. Just some trivia from experience with Austins and Triumph bikes. Lindsay

    1957 Windsor questions

I went to my 1955-'58 parts book. The headlight section only references 2 and 4 headlight systems and various versions of export headlights. There is no date or VIN number references. When I get a chance I will check the Service and Parts bulletins. Chrysler may have sent notices to the states...

WANTED 66 Dodge Polara metric speedo

Extremely rare - the part exists, but I've only ever seen one USA Monaco/Polara dash with a Kilo speedo. They were used in cars built for export to countries that used the metric system. Your likely only going to find a used one from somebody in Europe. That's where I found my kilo speedos...

It has a V5T on the tag. 72 doesn't have a T in the code book where as 71 does and mentions it as Tan. 72 V9T chestnut and V4T walnut Are the only V code 72 colors. No V5(T) 72+ I've not seen the B64 4 wheel skid control before. Is that disk brakes all around? Or what?
