SOLD 1971 Chrysler New Yorker Coupe $25000

...US Customs I find very helpful compared to our somewhat impatient officers. It is my understanding, the buyer is importing, the seller is not exporting. The seller provides the paperwork: the buyer does their leg work to get it across the border. My suggestion to the seller is to recommend...

15" Wheel Swap for 1966 Polara

...these small caps come in 2 diameters, which match the wheels. IIRC 67 was a transition year from larger caps to smaller ones. The 'unknown export' and 2823008 caps are larger, all the others are the smaller size. Here are 2 threads that show LOTS of options. Exactly What Wheels & Tires...

    1971 N-code Factory Sunroof Newport

Generally no but one could probably find an example of an Export car being delivered in Canada just like you can find Export cars actually sold and delivered in the US.

    318 poly power pack

Nope, that's an extract from the US brochure! The Super Pak was indeed a US option. After being the top of the line engine name for 1957, "V800" became the name of the standard 318 in 1958 (for marketing purposes obviously). The special camshaft is confirmed in the parts manual, reference 1851862.

Tobi just told me about this the other day. Just another reason to punt that MF Child out of Ottawa for good on Monday!:mob: Do you have a link to the relevant government policy on this?

NOT MINE 1970 Dodge Monaco 4dr Hardtop - $6,500 - Malahide, Ontario, Canada

Looks like this Monaco could be a steal. Seemingly solid A/C car with power windows, nice! With the new export rules, hopefully a Canadian member can snag the car. @cbarge @Fratzog @'69FuryIIIConvertible @My70monaco @Tobias74 and many others may be interested.

We'll get to know her better tonight, after my Final washup for today. I have about 1 ****-TON of crawling under old Mopars to do today. Will post when I have free time again.

...man who helped me a lot with parts for my Polara when I was restoring it a few years ago, he keeps a few '64 Fury's. Mine is a Canadian built export model RHD sedan, I've owned for 20 years, it was rusty when I got it but all that got cut out and done right, it's a much loved family member. I...

NOT MINE 1974 Plymouth Fury III Sedan - $4,000 - Bothell, Wash.

I think you'd find a lot of Export cars never really left the states. This is not uncommon with A, B and E bodies ordered by Service men returning from overseas. I don't know how prevalent this would be with C bodies. I think the probability is higher a 360 was replaced with a 318 than we'd find...

A Lovely Old Spinster, Virgin No More!

...2005 it last ran in 1974. I had the same problem with the cooling passages plus the block was full of crap in the water jackets right past the freeze plugs. Nothing new from a car that sat for a ling ling time. Glad you found and is addressing the issue. Being an Export model she is a rare beast.

NOT MINE 1970 Chrysler New Yorker 4dr Hardtop - Fr.29,888 - Oberglatt, Zürich, Switzerland

That is one stunning car! I'd like to find one that looks like that here on our continent. Black with blue guts is phenomenal! Did anyone get a picture of the fender tag? Did it have the fender tag? Or inspectors tags? Or was it a special export fender tag?

As to the price of this one: I don’t think it was way out. On the contrary. That is about what one would expect to have to pay for a well optioned, made-for-export specimen in such a nice shape. - Don’t expect for another one to pop up anytime soon.

Meet Gertrude: the Newest Morris Mopar, 1968!

Just looked in the '68 Chrylser parts book. There is a 383 2bbl "L.C., Export" piston listed, but found no VIN engine code for such. Further mystery . . . LH HP manifold for the 383 4bbl and 440HP also fit the LH of the 383 2bbl 3-spd manual trans cars, according to the same '68 Chrylser parts...
