    Bad News from ESPO

That is a shame. I bought my leaf springs from ESPO and picked them up. Pick up is at their house and Laura and her husband were there to greet me even though it was late evening in the rain. I would say the comment about their age might be the biggest factor here. Sad there isn't someone...

What rear leafs will work on a ‘71 Newport Royal coupe?

You HAVE to reuse the old ones. There may be listings for new shackles, but they aren't correct. This is why I suggest using a nut splitter right from the start. Just crack the nuts in half, clean it up and use new nuts. The shackle has an offset with a longer pin on one side. I believe...

Leaf Spring Replacement - Standard or HD

If I remember correctly, ESPO offers a 1" higher arch in the standard spring. A luttle lift yet still nice ride- not harsh. I did that on my 73 Satellite wagon.

Leaf Spring Replacement - Standard or HD

I just installed the HD leaf springs from ESPO on my 68 Sport Fury. THEY RIDE GREAT!! If anything they are a weee bit soft. I had an issue with the car where it would always wander on the road...even after much work to the front end and addition of Borgeson steering box. It turns out that...

Leaf Spring Replacement - Standard or HD

I've read a number of the posts about leaf springs here and am close to buying new ones. I'm looking at ESPO and Eaton. ESPO pricing is better. Question: Both offer Standard or HD. I am staying at stock height. Will ride quality be the same with the HD? I hope to take some road trips when all...

Exactly What Wheels & Tires Fit C Bodies?

I don't know about the backspacing, but the rims fit perfectly. The fronts are 14x6 Ansen sprints drilled in a 4.5 bolt pattern. Tires are 225/70/14 Rears are 15x7.5 ET unilugs with 255/60/15s. Most of the rake is from the rear tire diameter and the 1" arched ESPO springs.

Hey people, I am in need of Rear leaf springs for 1974 plymouth fury iii. My rear end is sagging really bad

Another vote for Espo. https://www.springsnthings.com/ There are others that also produce good springs, but assuming you are in Virginia, you may find that overall cost with shipping might be cheaper with Espo because it's closer.

    Replacement Leaf Springs Needed

Based on recommendations from this forum where others have purchased both, I believe everyone was happy with either. I am happy with how the ESPO ones perform so far and they seem to have a good reputation and customer service. I know a few years ago there was very little price difference...

    Replacement Leaf Springs Needed

@Stargazer I've received a pair of 7 leaf springs from ESPO Springs n things last week with hangers, bushings and bolts. Price and Laura's help are both great! I've used a freight forwarder to get parts from the US to the netherlands paying for volume and not by weight. Takes a couple of...

1963 Chrysler New Yorker 4 door hardtop

Have the new Espo leaf springs installed, along with a new set of rear shocks. Went with the heavy duty, stock height springs. It bumped the rear of the car up slightly as the car had shocks with coil springs on it, which I'm assuming were installed to help the old tired leaf springs out. Photo...

Leaf Spring Replacement - Standard or HD

I put on the ESPO springs on my 66 Fury about 6 months ago, with the 1" lift. It's an almost imperceptible rake and rides soooo nice! Do yourself a favor and throw in some new shocks while you're at it. Your car will ride like butter AND be able to go around a corner slightly higher than...

Hey people, I am in need of Rear leaf springs for 1974 plymouth fury iii. My rear end is sagging really bad

ESPO Springs and Things. A search here on this topic would have revealed that as one of the best sources.

    Replacement Leaf Springs Needed

I just replaced mine with ESPO (Springs and Things) which was a little less than these at $410 for the pair plus shipping. Although to Europe the shipping may be the differential. Was $420 for the 7 leaf. I bought the 6 leaf as that was standard for my car ( 5-1/2 leaf), but added the 1/2 leaf...

    Replacement Leaf Springs Needed

Using the freight forwarder I needed to send the parts to South Carolina where it's packed in the container. Can't remember shipping cost from ESPO to SC, think it was low 100USD??? From there I've paid 165eu for shipping, 64eu for export declaration, 21eu for import declaration (that was for...

Hey people, I am in need of Rear leaf springs for 1974 plymouth fury iii. My rear end is sagging really bad

ESPO sold us a very nice rear spring upgrade about 4 yrs ago, with an extra 2" of lift for the rear. I used that on our '66, then transferred them to the '68 when Mathilda got murdered nearly 3 yrs ago. Gertrude rides great with the ESPO stuff too, and THAT car had had one of its original...
