68 Newport. Tightening up the steering

Do you have a manual? Have you tried tightening the gear VIA the top of the gear box ? Did the rebuild change the gears or just the seals ?

    Wiring

Well, here it is. Rivet very loose and foot looks worn out. Only needs about a 1/64 because testing the switch shows only one tiny spot on travel gives continuity.

    1977 Chrysler Town & Country

So I was curious if this still had the original engine, I assumed it did given the mileage....but you can never be for sure as we are approaching 50 years old! So up on the lift and a little brake cleaner to get some of the goo off to verify. Looks like it is! Last of the VIN is 7D180049...

Are LED headlights a worthwhile upgrade?

Plug-in headlight relay kits are available, cheap ones and decent quality versions. Also fairly easy to build them DYI if possessing some basic electrical skills. The OE headlight wiring was/is woefully inadequate even for the original sealed beams. Be sure to draw relay secondary power from the...

NOT MINE 1971 NY FB 4dr U code

Good point. My excuse is that he acquired the car well before I started looking at C-bodies, and I am not aware of the tag info as a result. I still ought to have mentioned it. --> Perhaps @saforwardlook could post the tag of his sunroof / FY1 Lemon Twist 1971 Chrysler New Yorker with 440HP...
