What does the lower rad hose connection look like? Does it go straight rearward? A Chrysler car has a crossmember there and the lower connection is at an upward angle. Your car is wide open under there. The Chrysler rad may fit.

If its been plugged like that for a long time, it's certainly not likely to start working now if you decide to reconnect the hose. If the car runs OK, I'd leave it just like it is.

Frankie the 69 Fury developed a coolant leak. Chsnged the bypass hose... still leaked. Cleaned the crud off the fitting with emery cloth and cranked the hose clamp on. Still leaked. The water pump at the fitting is rotted and leaking.. Leaks pretty good so no goin to town til the new water pump...

You can get Oetiker clamps online. Last ones i bought were at NAPA, so maybe try there. Those small worm clamps are garbage. Also, buy upgraded fuel hose, not the plain rubber stuff.

Agree on the Teeing & hose across the front of the engine. Does not look or function right. Should have bought a manifold with rear vacuum port.

It's pumping air so it's working. Take your supply hose out of the can and hold it up and put some gas in the hose so it will get the pump wet. Now crank the engine with the line held up, sometimes that helps them start working.

I replaced the hose, years ago. The valve itself was bad. It was open when I blew through it in both directions. Hardly any resistance in the direction which it should have been sealed shut.

Some brake parts came in. Seals and shoes are chinese made. Brake hoses are USA made. Rear brake hose is somewhat different but I believe it will work.
