I am about 1 1/2 hrs from the boarder. I would like to try and set up a meeting sometime. I live just north of Winnipeg.

My "dream Canadian" car would be a '66 Windsor convertible. 1) because it wasn't offered in the US. 2) because Windsor is a bit of a "sister city" to Detroit. Nice town. Lots of Mopars.

Thanks for the information...I never would have thought to look at lowriders as a source for something like this...but as soon as you mentioned it it made sense. Lowriders are not a "thing" in Winnipeg...the potholes/ road conditions here make it impractical.

...300. Love it! Hemmings Classic Car featured a Canadian '65 Valiant, looking like a U.S. Dart with a Valiant grille. My parents were from Winnipeg, and alternating annual trips to the Wpg or Vancouver always treated me to Meteors, Pontiac Laurentians - and my favorite, a '66 Chrysler Windsor.

He drives it around Winnipeg in the winter as long as no salt on roads. He also looks after it like it is the last one.
