intake if you go to a 4v, carb obviously, linkage, mechanical fuel pump 1st come to mind. you will lose the dash computer's mpg function. i had an 81 that we put a 4v on, but it had already been converted to a 2v. if you do dual exh the gas tank will need to be shifted over ( easy) and a...

    Engine performance upgrade

I should be making more, the 284/.484 cam kills it. The dynamic CR is probably crap. Cam was already bought and paid for so in it went. My point was milling heads is IMO not worth the effort. OP will be farther ahead with carb correction and timing, also heat crossovers block off.

@fury fan I’m glad you added the Cat to this thread. I’ve been reading it since it was started by @Dick Landy and thought I should add this 300 that I’m so happy to have a chance to own but failed to get around to it. There’s many entertaining and informative posts on this site including...

I knew that! Honest.... Always hear it referred to as a "roll pin" though and sometimes you just gotta roll with it. I do refuse to use the word "posi" when referring to a "Sure grip" rear and don't get me started on "kick down" linkage...

Mr. Hill, Thanks for the info! I will see if I can sneak out this weekend and pay it a visit! In my recent experience the shows have been a bit of a bust, as online has almost made them extinct like the dino's. Here are a couple pic's of mine. It's still a work in progress, and the hood scoop...

Can someone tell the name of those rims?

I think you will be pretty happy with the 8.75 / 2.93 axle. I just installed a Sure Grip 2.94 in my '66 300 convertible which formerly had a one-legger 3.23. It was a good all around ratio, but the car always seemed like it needed to shift into a next higher gear. I'm hoping the engine will...
