    Wiring in electric choke

Provided that your car is more or less in stock condition, the ballast resistor is a white, boxy looking part made from ceramic material and mounted to the passenger side of the firewall, about 1" x 3" in size. There should be one dark blue wire connected to one side of the ballast resistor...

Shock recommendation for added ride height?

I'm wanting to raise the ride height on my 77 T&C. Done some searching and see where gas shocks can add up to 2.5" to 3" height. My shocks appear to be pretty old and rusty so I will replace them regardless. I've seen some older Mopar C bodies that apparently had spring shackles factory...

By the part number not the casting number. It is stamped on the side under the output lug.

    What is this wagon?

Ya the hidden headlights look good. I wish the 74-77 T&Cs came with the waterfall grill and hidden headlights. I would be tempted to swap mine, but I like keeping things original as built. Same with the interiors on the 74-77 wagons, wish they had the option for the high trim seats like the...

More towards the slight side but noticeable. Also the turn signals make it go dimmer and brighter slightly. I was sure the relays are supposed to eliminate that

where can I find the ballast resistor? Is it wrapped up in tape? I'd think the starter relay is live all the time no?

NOT MINE 1971 NY FB 4dr U code

Here you go.......................... In addition to the FY1 Lemon twist paint color, and the sunroof plus U code engine, the R36 AM/FM stereo plus the transmission hump mounted stereo cassette and CB was a rare option as well. The original owner of the car was a Chrysler dealer in the Los...

Plug n play headlight harness upgrade

It's an aftermarket head unit I bolted under the dash (Continental TR7412UB-OR). Both the instrument cluster and firewall voltage regulators have been replaced with solid state units. The radio just acts as if it suddenly lost power. If I leave the high beams on the radio comes back on fine. It...

Plug n play headlight harness upgrade

I have not heard of a radio restarting itself. @Zymurgy is usually good with radio problems. Testing the lighting/radio issue at higher rpm is a good idea. Also, if you still have a mechanical voltage regulator, I would consider conversion to electronic. @halifaxhops could help with that.

Plug n play headlight harness upgrade

I wonder if that's why my radio restarts itself when I turn on my high beams either via the foot switch or the push button hold switch I installed...voltage drop might be too high and the alternator just can't keep up. I only tested it while the vehicle was stationary though, not while the...

If you have a 35 amp alternator and older wiring, you may be losing current as you decrease rpm.

    69 power steering reservoir cap

What pump do you have? Pics are necessary. I am guessing you ordered a cap for the wrong brand of pump.

Can someone point me in the direction of the correct reservoir cap for a 69 Newport. I ordered one by application and it is not correct. Thanks in advance.

    How's The Weather?

Temps expected to be in the upper 30's to mid 40's this week in Illinois, so what's left of the snow around here should be gone. I'll be in TN mid week, where and when it's expected to be mid 60's to lower 70's.
