Plug n play headlight harness upgrade

Cheers, it's actually a 67 year model. It's got relays for both high and low beam circuits, I tapped into the foot switch wiring up behind the dash (at the wire that lights up the high beam indicator bulb) to a momentary switch that activates the relays. That's why I was thinking it might it...

Plug n play headlight harness upgrade

Like your 1968 Fury. Does not have to be your wiring, although resistance in the circuit or poor grounds definitely cause problems. Could be a problem with the floor dimmer switch. Perhaps internal resistance is causing trouble with finding a current path for high beams. Also, connectors at the...

    Piston diagnosis

I‘ve already scraped off the carbon from the piston and cleaned a Bit. There was much more Carbon on it. Yes, Engine was running to rich on some cylinders and were sucking oil through valve guides. No.6 had a broken compression Ring and spark plug become fould after short Time. Poor performance...

NOT MINE 1970 Chrysler 300 convertible (silver, $11k ask in Memphis TN)

Do not like firewall painted black. Too lazy to order a can of the correct paint. Otherwise, nice looking car from what I can see.

    69 power steering reservoir cap

Confirmed to be a Federal. Found some old threads with details. Strangely every site I have checked shows the Saginaw for 69 and I have found several guys on here, B bodies and moparts looking for 69 Federal caps. Looks like the same era Ford Federal can be had for less than 12 bucks. But the...

    RPM intake clearance

Looks like RPM (Air Gap) is about 1.5" taller. Put some Play Doh (tm) on top of the air cleaner and close hood. that will tell you how much clearance you have.

Are LED headlights a worthwhile upgrade?

I agree, daily driving classics is quite the experience, The paint on the Dodge still has got some blemishes & small rust patches. I brang back the paint as much as I could with careful oxidation removal. But I'm still somewhat wary of getting the paint too dirty than it already is. It's...

Voyager 1 and 2 still alive!!!! 38,000 mph!

And the good news is that Carl Sagans Golden Record, on V'Ger (TOS Star Trek), will endure the near vacuum of interstellar space for hundreds of billions of years henceforth. Assuming its only hit by the occassional atom or molecule, rather than anything larger, far future lifeforms ought to be...

Plug n play headlight harness upgrade

Not over here much. Got a bit sick and not as spry as before. Things move a lot slower. LOL Yes I still make the kits and would be more than happy to build them for the C body crew. Have many happy folks that have installed my kit. I don't seem to get any notifications regarding DM's or...

    RPM intake clearance

I have one on my 67 Coronet 383 and it clears with a small drop down air cleaner. I would assume a Fury would have more clearance.

Are LED headlights a worthwhile upgrade?

Love to see it when vintage car owners use their vehicles in regular commutes! Got to start doing that aw well. I just get so paranoid about nicks and scrapes to my perfect paint.

    What is this wagon?

That is the base engine listed I believe. You could definitely get the 400 and 440 in either.

    What is this wagon?

So, Monaco only came with a 360? The polara's came with the 318's. No big blocks in these cars? Or those were special order?
