    Group 24, 27 or 34 battery? Good brand? Marine/RV ?

I used to crack into old car batteries as a child. Learned PLENTY about corrosives, lead, lead salts, and how to reclaim stuff that way. I'm SURE some EPA-Child-Snatcher-Agency would grab any child learning this way in the U.S.A. today. Kept a jelly jar w over 10 lbs of hot mercury in it...

Hello, I posted this hear as opposed to the engine area because I was hoping someone within the Formal Years forum could shine some light on a set of headers or HP manifolds that work with a 74. I have heard good and bad of things with headers but after looking at the 68-69 HP manifolds I do not...

Not knowing the trim code, does the car have a normal 2-dr front seat or factory buckets? I concur on the sources mentioned above. Unless Legendary has a kit for your car, it'll be you get the materials and then find a good trim shop to sew it all together. Check out the Color and Trim Guides...

    68' 300 Exhaust

In general, the word "Chevy" is usually involved when "headers" are mentioned. That has seemed to be where many people's experience or knowledge of "headers" comes from. Reason? Chevies NEED help in the area of exhaust manifolds. They did have some '60s Corvette cast iron Rams Horn manifolds...

He also said that they didn't have power vent windows, but it was indeed an option. But hey, I can certainly excuse a few inaccuracies when a person has so much vehicular trivia to sort through in his brain :) Now what that car DID have which was pretty rare (and seems to be gone) is the...

    Welcome, Gearhead

There are numerous posts about SMS and Legendary. Both companies, AFAIK, deliver excellent products BUT they can take time to deliver. SMS is particularly notorious for delays -- I have been relatively lucky, some other members have not been. When they finally send the products, though, there is...

And loafers instead of sandals. I guess acid is more of a hazard than molten metal. You can also hear the call to prayer in the background near the beginning.

Me too - he's had a rough go recently. Regardless, he said that power disc brakes were standard on the 68 300, and they were not, if I recall correctly.
