    Ventshades

Glad to hear that so far, things are looking positive in the face of perceived challenges. I am about to reach out to the vendor through the contact info I was given. Before I do, can anyone who's purchased the ventshades update this thread as to the delivery or progress of their order?

YouTube video with Matchbox SuperKings Monaco wagon.

Yeah, that's one of my favourites! I always wanted it as a kid, as even then I loved big '70s cars, but all I ever found were the fire chief versions. I finally found one like what's shown in the video a few years back. They did at least one other colour that I'd love to find, too.

Steering box blows a seal. Now what?

Agreed, there's a good chance you do not need to remove the box to fix the leak. Clean everything to pinpoint the leak. It sounds like it's leaking bad enough that it shouldn't be hard to pinpoint. If it's the hoses, clamps, o-rings on the top, or seal on the bottom, it likely can be fixed in-car.

    Historical prototype 300 hood ornament

I went back and forth with pulling the trigger on purchasing this 300 hood ornament. I have never seen any other examples, or even a close resemblance to this oddity. The seller claimed that it was from the estate of a former employee of a Chrysler design studio. I’m wondering if this was a real...

i think I recall the flying vings were hard to fly in the pure analog era. I learned the Conccorde was "tailess." Part of why its had a "droop nose" was so pilots could see better but also inherent to the design they had to do it. it had a vertical stablizer but no horizontal stabilzers...

So you are wanting part numbers so you can "build a kit"? A lot of your answers are in post #2, respectively. Those answers should send you into the online catalogs for Edelbrock, Air Flow Research, Trick Flow, and others with aftermarket aluminum heads so YOU know what is out there. Pistons...

Thank you for all of the replys, I really appreciate it. But it doesn't go to my original question and I will try to be more detailed. I am looking for a recipe of what to buy, what brands and what specs to build my 383. I have rebuilt a few engines before but I want to lean on this forum's...

The flying wing aircraft requires constant adjustment of the control surfaces. I find it amazing that the YB-35 and YB-49 flew with mechanical or manual (pilot) controls.
