Is there no source for OEM HVAC parts and rebuilding?

They are in my shop. I may be in the shop later today, either way I will get pics as soon as I can.

    Rear axle bearing vendor choices

I have NOS Mopar bearings and retainer plates should you want to go that route. I'd have to check on some of the other related parts as everything I have is individual, not in a kit. I think I have the seals too, but, gaskets, bearing retainer rings, and sponge gaskets I'm not sure. IIRC, my...

MoPar ATF +4 would be the best ATF to use.

Is there no source for OEM HVAC parts and rebuilding?

@65CopCar - can you possibly post a picture that shows which electrical pin on the modern vacuum controller switch you "leave off"? Is it something where I could trim or cut that terminal away so that my harness simply plugs on? It's been a while since I've returned to this particular project...

Is there no source for OEM HVAC parts and rebuilding?

The vacuum control block for 65 and 6y Fury is very hard to find NOS, and when one does they're stupid expensive, as well as it may be bad out of the box as noted. I searched by part number for some time with little success, as the same switch is used in my 66s.

Is there no source for OEM HVAC parts and rebuilding?

Don't trust NOS. I have NOS in my 67 Coronet (same one) and its bad. Not all functions works. I have several NOS ones and I will be rebuilding them along with the blower switch (my spare is bad). I just have not had time yet. I have the capability to machine most of the parts including the...

NOT MINE 1965 Chrysler 300L Conv., 413/4-spd. (Mecum; No Reserve; Jan. 14)

I think it's a decent car and a great place to start. At $30K, you are paying for it being a convertible with a 4 speed. If this was a hard top automatic, what do you think??? $10-15K??

NOT MINE 1967 Chrysler Newport Coupe $22,500 Hebron, OH

They look like 15" to me, but the pics aren't clear. '68 Mopar Magnums wouldn't have a trim ring. I don't know if they are Ford wheels. I would assume they are aftermarket.

NOT MINE 1965 Chrysler 300L Conv., 413/4-spd. (Mecum; No Reserve; Jan. 14)

@Big_John There were some concerns about the quality of the paint job that had been done to the car when I looked it over in 2023, along with the door panels missing trim. The paint round the wheel wells looked like it was a back yard fix. But being a drop top 65 300L with a 4 speed, (1 of 12)...

WANTED Beginning to Look for 1966 Dodge Monaco 2 door

I wonder if anyone has taken the front clip off a '67 Monaco and put it on a '66 2-door. For those that fool around with AI image rendering - what would a '67 Monaco look like if it had the roof line of a '66 2-door.

WANTED Beginning to Look for 1966 Dodge Monaco 2 door

1966 Monaco 2-door - practically nothing on fecebook right now. There's one for sale in Orange Cove California (on fecebook), it's a project, $3150 but I bet would take less (listed 4 days ago). There's a 1966 Polara 2-door in excellent condition in Wainwright Alberta for $8000 (CAD) about...

    reproduction 1968 Newport grille emblem

Thanks for the feedback - the piece comes out slightly lighter on the picture (when I compare the piece itself right by my computer screen), so we are on the right track. This said, do you have a close up picture of the emblem on this car above?

NOT MINE 1965 Chrysler 300L Conv., 413/4-spd. (Mecum; No Reserve; Jan. 14)

There's been some talk on the 300 letter car club mailing list about this car. Consensus among those that saw the car is the sale price was about right, and condition isn't as good as the pictures show. When I looked at these pictures of the interior, I couldn't help but wonder about the...
