NOT MINE 1973 Dodge Polara Poss police pkg Mesa AZ

Got a key made for it yesterday so I could get it off my trailer. So while was waiting for the windshield urethane for installing the rear window I cleaned up the engine bay. While doing that I noticed how un butchered everything is. All vacuum lines hooked up and looks like the original...

AI Pics of YOU created (car-related)

That's really cool and I agree with your observations of father's day cards! I hate that so many junkyards are corporate now, (no one under 16) or my kids would have already been several times.

    Cheap Chinese laser welders.

Most likely China as the parent company for Ovsuqu is Chinese. A lot of the cost for consumer goods is advertising. It's nothing new. Ever wonder why an identical store brand product is cheaper than the name brand? Cost of advertising is a huge one. (I'm probably still bound by several...

    Hello Mopar friends

Hello, Iam Roald, a 52 year old enthousiast of cars, specific V8 engines. I recently got hand on a '66 plymouth Fury, with a 360 engine in it. Needs some work, but has beatiful patina. Hopefully I can fix everything with a little help from you guys. For example: there is a factory A/C in the...

    The Hurst Registry

Better? The trick I used was to split the picture into 2, as each picture gets downsampled to a max size -- so the more pics one splits the file into, the higher the res each partial pic is.

I need tips for installing transmission cooler lines...

Follow up. With the engine lifted off the mounts about 2 inches, I was able to install lines dropping only the idler arm connection to the center link (pittman probably would have provided more clearance). I slid the line connecting to the rear transmission fitting from the rear and the line...

NOT MINE 1968 Plymouth VIP 4-door hardtop, barn find, 34k miles, 318, Hamburg, Pennsylvania

I've never heard of that, but maybe. It seems a bit a$$-backwards to come with power things but then have a dealer remove them; it's more typical that a dealer would add things and make some money off of the extras.

1966 Newport 383 — Factory Mechanical Fan & Spacer Part Numbers?

Update: I apologize for the delay in updates — the holidays have been hectic. Anyway, about a week ago I found the complete fan setup on eBay. It included the 4-blade fan (PN: 2265034), the 1.720" thick spacer (PN: 1674746), and the factory hardware. According to the factory parts book, these...

NOT MINE 1968 Plymouth VIP 4-door hardtop, barn find, 34k miles, 318, Hamburg, Pennsylvania

Wasn't it true for a lot of these mopar cars, that a certain car came "standard" with power windows or am radio or power brakes or power steering, but at the dealership you could have any of those items knocked off for $10 or $150 so it made a farce out of the "standard" concept and pricing?
