my 67 is yellow as the car and the other 67 parts car and the 68 i had were all painted as the car.

Maybe this depended on the assembly plant, but technically didn't the slab engine bays come painted black?

I’m not sure about earlier cars but the first pic style was what Mopar used for ‘64-‘66 cars, and the second pic style was what they used for ‘69 and up. ‘67-‘68 used a squarish head blank.
