    Cowl fresh air venting

...should all drain out and not get into the vents. When the drain gets clogged, water backs up until it can flow down into the vents. I used a hanger to "open up" the drain and then flushed it out really well with water. This was probably 5 plus years ago and I haven't had the issue reoccur...

...at, hence the question. OK, thanks for the photo, that helps a lot. I don't have anything on my shock mount crossover piece because my hanger is mounted to what is the backrest portion of the back seat. Does that mean that I can use the supplied mounting hardware TTI gives you without...

What rubber to use for exhaust hangers?

The OEM tail pipe hanger for my 1965 Fury III broke. The U clamp around the pipe was suspended by some sort of thick rubber. I know the chance of getting a similar new hanger is zilch. I can drill out the rivet and just put another piece of rubber in, if I could find the material they used. I...

    66 Exhaust Tips

...more visible than O.E. because they do run with the frame rail and are larger in diameter than O.E. . Still a good system that deals with the gas tank offset to one side. Underneath, everything fits very nicely. Notice the original hanger for the right single exhaust is inide the right frame rail

1966 Fury III - Unfinished Project

Couple Flowmaster clones, mild steel because cheap. Spent an age being everything to line up, welded fully and added some hangers to get it to sit right. Needs another hanger up front really, I think I'll add one. Stuffed the rest of the pipe together with the passenger side just resting on...

Meet Buttercup, a 1972 New Yorker Brougham 2-door Hardtop

Thanks for the link Tim. Universal hangers don't fit well w/ our 69-73 Chrysler models. The exhaust from Waldrons fits pretty well. Universal hangers were found everywhere w/ this hacked exhaust system I removed. There are some very tight clearances over the rear axle and rear bumper. Just...

Regarding front seat belts in plastic receiver of 65 Fury

...is useless. Once the pin is in pry the ends up and take the retractor off the belt. Put it on the new belt and clamp the ends against the belt. To get the belt back in the shroud just put a hook in a wire coat hanger. Push it through from the bottom, hook it on the bolt hole and pull it through.

Well, I removed the valve covers and used a coat hanger to check the oil return passages...but they were all clear. I cleaned up the valve covers and put some new gaskets up. I did notice that the passenger side valve cover (where I see the most blow by) was "bent" open and not level causing...
