I have YOM plates on all of my cars. Register once and your done, don't have to renew every year. These are Spokane County Plates, where the car came from.
Those supposedly sold out instantly when they put them up for sale. There are several at local dealers right now so I think a lot of people with deposits backed out. I would think that you could get one for less than MSRP.
They said it was a pre-production car? The VIN they had listed was only six digits which was weird. I didn't see it yesterday, was going to look for it tomorrow. Looked like it had every option, which is what a ad car would have.
There is a page floating around somewhere on the internet showing what each letter means on a VON. I believe the "840" means it was the 840th special order car made in 1972 with that VON.
I'm guessing it was a small town or county that ordered it they way they wanted. I've seen several "Police" cars ordered like this. I have the paperwork from a rural Idaho dealership that ordered 69 Fury Is for the local county and they were ordered like this wagon.

Tried to trade my 300G for this car but couldn't work out a deal. Had a board member look at it for me and it isn't bad, some evidence of previous body work but a nice driver. $80k is too much for me.
