Are you sure the PO removed the hood springs? In 66 your car would have a torsion bar style hood spring. Not a coil type that you would find on other makes. Could you post a picture of the upper fire wall area to see if you still have the torsion bars. I can post a picture for you if you can’t.

If I understand what you need is the ignition switch connector and wiring. I have a 1966 Newport parts car I could check the connector and terminals and cut about 6 to 8 inches of the harness. Price would be real good. Would be late next week before I would be able to.

66 New Yorker

Looking for a LH vent window crank mechanism part # 3824303. The spare I put in is not in much better shape, but now the vent window works. I’ll call Murray if no one has one they are willing to part with.

Could use a Top Lock nut. Fasten also has them.

Check out Rockauto.com. The fuel tank is listed. The sending unit is the same as a 1967 New Yorker as per the listing for the New Yorker. You just need to know how many vents your tank has.

I think I have what your looking for. From a 1966 440.

This is what I did when I rebuilt the front suspension on our car. The sway bar bushings came from Autozone. A couple of coupling nuts from Fastenal some 1/2 all thread a piece of flat bar some welding and other hardware.

I have 4 14" steel wheels with tires that are in good shape and even 4 300 spinner wheel covers. I would have to check if they are 6.5 wide. Only issue is I won't be home for about 3 weeks. If you haven't found anything by then I'll reply again to your want ad.

Which side? This is a die cast part and tends to pit over time. What type of conditions are you looking for? Daily driver or NOS?
