It was a great show and swap and it was nice to Mark again and I was glad to meet Tim. Too bad the weather didn’t cooperate towards the afternoon.

Those are assist springs and they should be there. They basically “lighten” the window so the window motor doesn’t have to work hard to lift dead weight.

It’ll take a looong time. Take my word for it. Mine has been leaving foam dust on the floor for about 30k miles and I’m not sitting on springs just yet. :lol:

I wouldn’t think Hagerty would agree to insure a vehicle that didn’t have inside storage. Iirc I had to provide a picture of my storage situation.

Those front seats have been reupholstered and they don’t look half bad in the pics. I usually can’t get past the sight of these seats when they’ve been redone.

If it were shiny and had a clean rug he could probably get 10k quite easily so the best thing for you to do would be to send someone local to inspect it for you. Me personally I’d rather get a nice deal on an “as is” car and do the spiffing myself. And it’s matte, mate.:poke::lol:

Can you measure for thickness?

Well you’ve thrown a bunch of parts at it, several of which are known to be bad right out of the box these days unless you know where to get them from. My guess is at least one of the new parts you installed is junk, condenser maybe?
