    Question on oil singers

I've had a couple of catastrophic failures of ancient front main seals with no slinger on cars that had a known weeping seal. Decades ago. The oil came a gushing on out of there. Lots of smoke on the exhaust. We didn't think the old beaters were worth the time and effort to replace the seals, so...

    Mystery brake issue.

Nothing has been changed other than what i mentioned. What's got me concerned is that opening the system at any point should allow the pedal to go to the floor, and with this car, that isn't happening. Disconnecting the main line before the split at the differential, disconnecting the lines...

NOT MINE 1967 Chrysler New Yorker 4dr Hardtop, 85K miles - $7,500 - LaPine, OR

Crappy pictures in ad. My 2nd favorite after the 66. Closer than the 66. Really, really close (under 50 miles) is a low mileage 67 Electra 225 and 68 Olds 98. I like full size and big blocks. Then there is the wife who says I have too many cars. She doesn't know about the Ambassador. Yet when she...

NOT MINE 1960 300F on eBay is a Scam!

Really? About time. I flagged another sale where the pictures were lifted off of BAT. They replied that they saw nothing amiss. I replied you must be blind not to see the obvious. What made it obvious was the fact that it was a buy it now and the price was 1/4 what it sold for on BAT.

Question about 1967 Chrysler 300 fender tag

I'll be looking at the 67 300 parts car in Alberta this weekend as our cabin is just 10 minuets down the road. I need a few chrome pieces so hopefully they will be there. The car is about an hour west of Red Deer. Thanks for posting about this parts car.

    Disc brake conversion kits

I bought an ign module and 'variable' coil of theirs 25-ish years ago, based on their hype of superiority. Couldn't get it to work, the wiring and colors didn't match the instructions. Tried their tech line, which went on-hold for forever, then would hang up on you. Wired it up as best I knew...

    Pics of 69-73 C bodies

Yeah, that book is a decent one, I have one. Plymouth Fury only, models from 1956-1976. Would've been great if it were thicker and had more coverage. But great to see such a book in any form.

    Disc brake conversion kits

Dunno... I grabbed that pic off the intrawebs. I was never impressed with the Jacobs ignition to tell the truth. Too much smoke and mirrors for me.

    Scored a booster

I had been looking for a booster for my 73 T&C for a while, and last week I jumped on Rockauto and saw this. I bought it immediately. Installed it yesterday and drove down the road and it stops great.

1970 Fury HP Exhaust Manifolds Burn Valve Cover Paint

Gotta give em that, the chryslers were interesting at top end.....different than ford and chevy. They would roll. Early on I moved from plymouth to chevy. For drag racing, chrysler shifting was a challenge, and in 70's with the damn new process, all you did was replace shift forks.....not...
