I read that copper washers have been recommended for this sort of thing.

    ETR valve

The screen fits under the gasket with the spring and tab and points down into the suction tube (away from the compressor). You are missing the ETR valve which contacts the spring and fits into the suction port on the compressor. The ETR valve is a solenoid that is energized via the wire...

NOT MINE 1970 N-code Fury iii convertible (formerly FK3 orange, now B5 blue)

Both bumpers are slightly twisted. Passenger front corner, drivers rear corner. Poor paint coverage behind drivers front bumper corner. Body side molding inserts are missing and painted black. Front seats are incorrect but at least back seat recovered to match. This is the only improvement I...

NOT MINE 1970 N-code Fury iii convertible (formerly FK3 orange, now B5 blue)

Seems like they are being more realistic and now auctioning it, albeit the reserve might be that ridiculous $29,500.

Hi guys, Looking for the 60s mopar police wheels, five of them, and four hubcaps as well. Doesn't matter if both are beat to ****, as long as they don't have rust holes and spin straight, I want it. Will need to ship to Australia.

    Leed Brakes conversion

If you want disc brakes check the ECI kit EC-769CK - I'm currently going back and forth between them to get a kit for my own RHD car, but saylor seems to have had a good time with them, with a bit of modification here and there (the rubber lines provided were apparently too short). Others have...

Wrong brake booster? Holes dont line up

I bought a brake booster, don't remember when or where, for my 1969 Plymouth Fury III convertible. It's front disks, rear drums. The booster is a Bendix single diaphragm (I think), part no. 18268. The 4 mounting studs don't line up with the holes in the backing plate, firewall and brake pedal...

I've got oil coming up through 2 intake bolts

Its coming up from the bolt hole, it only pools in the bolt valley, and I've never seen any oil on the side of the head, just the intake. I also re-torqued all the intake bolts a couple weeks ago when I first noticed it.

    Shaking!

Welll... havent had time to really dive into it yet with this whole work thing taking up a bulk of the day But I drove it again yesterday to work. It had almost no issue. On the way home at night, that was the worst its ever been. So now I know its for sure not heat related. It seems to...

Question about RV2 compressor with ETR valve...

I have a '71 Imperial with Auto Temp II. I've rebuilt the compressor, but it is a replacement compressor. On the suction side there is a gasket with the electrical connection to the ETR valve that I recovered from the original compressor along with the ETR valve. Are there any other gaskets...

I've got oil coming up through 2 intake bolts

Is that an oil passage that the bolt is threaded into? A blind hole into the crank case? Is oil leaking (being forced up) past the bolt shoulder and through a gap between the shoulder and the opposing surface of the manifold bolt-hole? Or is oil leaking from the valve cover gasket and just...
