    1968 Fury- new here

Look great but where do the slides actually go? I ask because my heater temp control is hard to slide across. I have to grab it with vice grips. I tried lubing as much as I could but it didn't really help. Lubed the adjustment section that sits behind the glove box. Easy to find since I don't...

    Reverse light switch.

I got mine at Saturday. A little difficult to install with column in the car but I did it with a c-clamp. Was nervous about breaking it but it worked. I'd like to see it a little easier to push metal pin in but I'm sure the creators already tried that.

    1968 Plymouth furyIII wheel bearings

Wheel bearing sounds like a good place to start. Maybe grease any ball joints. If you replaced the wheel stud, does the head of it the same as the others? Last year, when i was replacing front studs and a drum, I had a hell of time finding the correct parts. Until I broke out the micrometer...

WANTED TRW Model 0.96 steering pump

I have a TRW/Thompson, I believe, Model 0.96 steering pump and I'm looking for a rebuild kit that includes the bearing bushing. I'm really looking for the bearing bushing. The pulley side of the shaft is plain and 0.675in. The other side of the shaft is 0.62in I've seen the model 0.96 called...

    TRW power steering pump

Just an update, I used a hammer and center punch to remove the seal. It is definitely in bad shape and brittle. Ordered a new seal today, so we'll see what happens.

    TRW power steering pump

I love the way mine runs. The steering is so easy. The bearing looks good but definitely seems to be leaking at that spot. When the bearing and the shaft is in my hands, you can feel the shaft is worn a bit when sliding on the bearing. I know there is some kind of o-ring/gasket in there...

    TRW power steering pump

another question, why are the TRW pumps replaced? I’m guessing because they leak.

    TRW power steering pump

I have a 68 Fury 3 with a 383 and TRW steering pump that likes to leak. I just rebuilt it by replacing the two o-rings that stop the unit from leaking but it’s leaking more now. I’ll try to rebuild it again today and replace all the orings. If that doesn’t work again, can I get a Federal style...
