Has anyone used an aftermarket sure-grip?

Speaking of, when are we going to build mine? I actually have 2 spools and a SG like in this post to build now. I need a clean 489 case for the SG though

    TIRE PREFERENCES

Would not be original appearance but lots of good sporty SUV ties out there. 15" will be a challenge. I run HP SUV tires on my fury, love them. 17" tho

Imo toss the 413 stuff in the garbage. You'd be happier with the smaller of the 2 cheap summit cams

Does a tightly shaking vacuum gauge REALLY mean an ignition problem? Chasing my tail.

I agree, race engines get 20 min cam break in, a couple half passes and away you go

Finally... Taking my 66 on Route 66!

I want to do it again sometime. Learned a lot about how to make it successful. We had to cut out some big chunks and didn't get to stop at the museums in Pontiac.

If you haven't measured up to 3000 with your dial back I definitely would to see where you're at

    timing my 440 TNT

Probably becomes a personal preference thing, try it with the most timing the 87 will take for a tank and then try 91 or 93 and give it all the timing it likes then and see what the seat of the pants difference is and if it's worth the extra fuel costs. That's what I would do.

    timing my 440 TNT

Without adv numbers didn't look too bad. What's the specs on the rest of the engine? Bone stock? Mileage?
