On the water pump housing (440 (7.2 L) engine) there's two fittings (like nipples) that screw into the housing and provide for the heater hoses to attach to the housing. Does anyone know the tread size of these fittings? Cause I'm thinking of going to Home Depot and looking for some brass...

Fuel line on 1965 New Yorker

Sorry Bud, but hydraulics don't work that way. The size of the line will make no difference, unless it is so restrictive the pump can't overcome the pressure losses. A larger line is better for the pump.

    Dropping the steering column..

I am in the process of changing the steering gearbox on my 73 Newport, everything removed as indicated here. Today, will work on breaking plate loose from firewall. Can you advise if that was all you needed to do? I really don't want to have to remove dash, I just got it all installed.

    Alternator bracket

Hey guys, my alternator is super shakey when the engine is running and seemed like it wasn’t being supported very well, there is also a threaded screw hole exposed that’s built into the alternator. So after a little research, I’m realizing that there is a bracket that I believe i should have on...

My parents had a 68 LTD Country Squire (390 4bbl, C6) exactly like this: I was witness to it doing 120 mph, when we were returning from my accordion lesson, my dad had to pee. ;^)

For Sale 1968 Fury upper control arms and front drum brakes - free

Hoping somebody local to Detroit can use these. Have a complete set of front drums, shoes, backing plates, wheel cylinders, etc from my '68 Fury. I put Wilwoods on it 3 years ago and am realistically never going back to the drums so they're up for grabs if anyone can use them. They were in...

Funny, we were at the Ford Nationals this past weekend. I was surprised at how little variety there was, but then again it is the 60th anniversary of the Mustang. Lots of great cars, but we were more interested in the T Birds, but I did find my dads old wagon on display. If I were to get...

For Sale OEM 1974 Big Block Left Side Valve Cover

This is a OEM 1974 Big Block Left Side Valve Cover. It came off of a 1974 440ci. It is original, not a china knockoff, and is in good condition. It was painted black at some point in it's life, and has some spots of surface rust inside, so it needs a good cleanup & repaint. The number on the...
