Single ballast has the run and start wires on one side for points. Electronic has the dual ballast one wire on each side. Should have stated that earlier. Just FYI on the single ballast it should be .5-.6 ohms.
Doubt it it runs if it was blown out no start. Easy check should be .5-.6ohms across it. if it is the right one. Bad switch can send the vdc to the ballast in start and the circuit is good. Yes dual ballast can do that one side gone. Just FYI
69 has a single ballast if it is running it is good. Try to troubleshoot the wiring into and out of the switch before changing it 69 is a one year only $$$ switch
The pertronix II needs a special coil think it is a .6 ohm. and are supposed to run on 12VDC
On the second sheet

Some one was in there before. When you change the bushings make sure you burnish them to lock them in to the case. Personally I would get another shaft. That is a weak point now.
That one is hard to find believe it is a one year only Roadrunner? The third pin is for a warning light, most have two and the dimple also is rare. I love this stuff.
If it has a real transistor on a heat sink instead of buried in the potting. We beat the hell out of it here
