What are you working on today??

I did a lot of multi-tasking today. Crack of dawn I worked on the second step of prepping, taping, paint, and touch up on one of my wheel covers. Afterwards, I did started the second wheel cover to get the black ring that surrounds the medallion and give it 24 hours to cure. To see how I did it...

Is my new build doomed because I bought a flat tappet?

I watched the video and here's what I think... IMHO... The guy is selling roller cams now and not flat tappets. He wasn't making enough money for the work and time involved, so he sold his tappet grinder and concentrating on roller cams... and this is a camouflaged sales pitch. In other...

Garlits show Ocala Florida Nov 1 - Nov 3

Looking forward to seeing old friends and the cars at the show. BTW if you’re going to the show looking for a dash pad DO NOT do business with Allan or Alannah Foxx with Dash Pad Pros out of El Paso TX. They also do business as DashPadsTX on eBay. There products are garbage and if you return it...

'68 Chrysler 300 15" Disc Brake Wheel cover restoration

I love threads like this... It shows how little details make a difference and also how you don't need to find repops or NOS replacements to make it look good.

    Grace takes a bath

I watered down the entire car before cleaning. This prevents any damage or streaking from the cleaning solution. I used a diluted solution 50/50 of my Red Stallion whitewall cleaner with a soft bristle brush on the top. Right side clean, left side dirty

Might look at the Firm Feel website for rebuilt Chrysler gear boxes. Also the Borgeson website, too. I suspect both can ship to you. You can get new hoses from RockAuto, though. CBODY67

    Grace takes a bath

Now the garage is done, Grace my 67 Monaco 500 finally gets cleaned and tucked inside after being outside 24/7 for 6 months. We have trees which resulted in a dirty vinyl top deep into the grain. Plus dirt and sap all over.

Hello, my 1967 Chrysler Town and Country hardly moves due to longer driving with less oil (I bought it in that condition) -> has a lot of slip in the forward gears. Now I will rebuild the transmission, but I am not sure, which set, brand and parts I have to order from rockauto. Do you have any...
