Any Imperial guys going to be at the show? I’ll be there around 11. Looking for 68 imperial goodies and cars!

    1968 Auto Temp

I have all three manuals on the Auto Temp. It looks like I need the black tester tool. I have the Turquoise Auto Temp II tool. Checked the circuit breaker, and voltage is passing through. That's about as far as I got. Anyone know where I can get my hands on the tester tool?

    A/C Heater component

As I was digging around in the car, I found this broken hose. There’s several disconnected vacuum lines next to it as well. Is there something that supposed to go here for the auto temp? It’s a 19 68 Imperial.

    Headers vs Manifolds

I saw a thread about this, but thought I would ask a different way. I saw the high flow stock manifolds are on sale at classic industries for 71-74. I’ve also found some shorty headers for about the same price (1 3/4”). Any thoughts on which way to go? I’d like to do a 2.5” exhaust with some...

    6V Bulbs?

I’m on 1968 Imperial I didn’t realize that there were lightbulbs inside the front corners of the grill. I just happen to see one of them on. I took them apart to replace them with LEDs, and now neither one of them work even when I replaced the factory bulb back in it that was working. Does...

    Radio removal

WTH? LOL. I have spent about two hours trying to get the dash apart. Anyone know how to get this radio out without removing the AC housing? I mean nobody is ever stealing this radio! I have the 68 service manual, and I don't see how to do it. I've got most of the dash apart, but it looks like...

    Seat Upholstery

Does anyone make an upholstery kit for the 67-68 imperial? I can't find one. I just had an upholstery shop quote me $9k for recovering the seats. I'm sure this is a fair price, but I can DIY it. Are these seat covers unattainable?

    New member

Hey everyone. New to the group here. I just bought a 1968 Imperial convertible this week. I have lots of Mopar’s, and I’m headed up to Carlisle in July for the big show. Hopefully I’ll get to know some of you and maybe see some of you there.

    1968 convertible boot

I’m looking to get a new boot for my 1968 imperial convertible. Everywhere that comes up online appears to have snaps that you then have to drill into the metal around the opening. My current one has clips, and many of them are broken. It also has metal rails that slide into a groove behind the...
