    Aftermarket radio mounting

    OK so my 66 Newport did not have a factory stereo... There is NO WAY I'm going to cut into the dash as it is in perfect condition. I'm considering mounting a single DIN unit right under the ashtray as there is a few small holes from the factory there, I'm looking for some sort of "pod" however...

    My 1996 Newport mild resto/performance project.

    1966! not 96 lol I honestly had no plans what so ever of buying a Newport -but stumbled into this gem and had to buy it. 66 Sedan, 383, Torqueflite, 23,000 original miles. Just going to do some basic mods, exhaust and possibly some minor bolt-ons and cruise. This car is in amazing...
