    Lower hose spring for a 413 V8

OK here is the story. In looking for hoses for the 65 413 I see that it is hard to fine a lower hose with the spring in it. I see that the cure is a 13" X 1 5/8" spring that Ford web sites sell. Is this a legitimate fix? Other options? Thanks for the info you have.....

Were to get, or what are the dimensions on the fender skirt rubber seal on a 65 c-body??

OK got the hub caps shining and waxed. Started in on the fender skirts which look good but the rubber lip seal/anti-squeek is rolled up like a rope and melted into one big lump. Does anyone sell these? Anyone have the sizes of the seal? Was able to get a shine on the fender skirts. Again thank you.

It lives to drive on the roads again!

Well the 65 NY Wagon is back on the road as it should be. It only made it about 10 miles into a 20 trip because of water in the tank. Siphoned out the water and drove all the way with out problems. Brakes need a tweek and the parts are on the way. Drives nice shifts when it should. Engine has a...

    Y-Pipe for 65 413 wagon

So I am now looking for a cheap y-pipe to hold me over until I get a dual system. I have tried Walker/Waldron/ebay and others like even TTI. I have a few email out to them. OK any post on how to restore or get new "jewels" for my 65 New Yorker? The metal is rusty that surrounds the plastic insert. I see that Chrysler used these on even Plymouth up into the late 60's.

    Wagon headliner source?

OK wagon lovers, what do you use for the headliner? Is the perforated pressed sawdust panels around still? Substitute? And what modern up grade is there for the sound/heat barrier under the roof? Being a A/C car I would want to keep heat out and cold in as best as I can (multiple heart attacks...

Spark plug questions and spark wires.

OK I am a little behind the times but back in the day Champion was the go to spark plug (Circa 1979). What is the current thought? Engine is a 413. And i know that for the max energy transfer the coil needs to be matched to the load. For that reason you are not to run resistive HV wire with...
