Heater not working - 69 Chrysler Newport

So this morning I took both lines off the heater core and nothing came out. I tried gently blowing air through the core and it was plugged. I kept blowing a little bit at a time until it finally started to shoot some old brown water out the other line. I kept the air to it until nothing else...

Heater not working - 69 Chrysler Newport

I bought the car last year and the heater didn't work. Not an AC car. I didn't look at it last year but now I want to try to fix it. My fan works and the cool/warm switch seems to be doing it's job, the cable is moving something under the dash. I'm not sure what to check next.

Turns out a magnet from the collar that goes around the rotor button in the Pertronix conversion kit fell out. Looks like I'll need a new one.

Number six not firing in timer cap

My 383 starting missing this morning. When I pull the wires off the timer cap, number 6 isn't firing. There is no spark between the cap and the wire when you pull it out of the socket. If I hold it in the socket for number 3 it sparks, and the number 3 wire will not spark if moved to the...

    1969 Chrysler - 383 timing question

I replaced my points and factory coil with a Pertronix Igniter and Flamethrower coil. It has made the car run so much better. I've read posts here about timing and they mostly all say to set it at 12 and that it should be 38 - 42 when advanced. I've tried setting it at 10, 12 and 14 and...

I've been doing research into this and it looks like 67 - 69 c-body all have the same column. Can anyone confirm what I could fit into my 69 Newport?

1969 Chrysler Newport Custom Steering Column Question

Hi all, New member. I just bought a 1969 Newport Custom and the steering column has been swapped out for something that just isn't right. I have the cruise control unit under the hood but no cruise control button in the car. This leads me to believe that it was on the old column and the one...
