    Under Hood Light issue revisited

Finished product! The light fits perfectly and the switch, which grabs power from the starter relay, closes the circuit every time hood opens and opens the circuit when shut. Open hood for extended periods? Just unplug the power wire from the lamp. Thank you Old Man and Volksworld for the help!

    Under Hood Light issue revisited

Thank you for taking the time to post a visual. Now the instructions make sense. I can adapt this to my model year now that I understand the intent for earlier models. Much appreciated!

    Under Hood Light issue revisited

Thank you for clearing up the meaning of a few of the terms being used. Although my anxiety level is diminished somewhat, the mystery of proper switch placement remains. I purchased this kit because I enjoyed the luxury of a factory under hood light on my '69 Charger (so many moons ago) shining...

    Under Hood Light issue revisited

Hello all. This is a project that will require a person fluent in reading and interpreting Chrysler Parts installation instructions. Any insight will be welcomed! Best guess for intended position /area for this?

WANTED Radio dash bezel for 1970 Fury

Haven't been lucky enough to find this out in the wild. Someone here must have an uncut right half dash panel that surrounds the radio and heater controls. Thank you!

    Parts Car in the wild

Got all the disc brake components off, unfortunately the calipers and brackets were already missing. Had (1) good chrome road wheel on the trunk, and some worn but complete dash parts. Was a '70 Sport Fury small block car. Just goes to show, it pays to stop when you see a random old wrecking...

    WANTED Brake caliper

    power Brake Booster Check Valve

If I may, your tag line of Ugly Duckling is surprising to me. I think '68 NewYorker grill and headlight front end look is one of the best Chrysler ever made for their flagship line in any year! Nice color too!

    power Brake Booster Check Valve

I just paid $18.00 plus $5.00 shipping for just the rubber grommet (OE Mopar part). I'm hoping to switch the check valve intact from my old booster to the new one. FYI: the second port on my Check valve feeds vacuum to my cruise control unit.

1970 Fury III Convertible - New KYB front shocks are in!

What a challenge! Wrapping the shock piston with wire to hold it compressed so it would fit into mounting hole, the trimming the wire and pulling it out of the upper mounting hole was worth the effort. The ride control and firm feel was restored up front, and that big boy handles like it was...

    Front Shocks

That is my VIN! He owned the car for 39 years! I would love to know something of the back story for this car! Were the concealed headlamps and hood installed at the repaint? I'd like to get the paint code for the color, but I was told he passed away. Thanks in advance for anything you can share...

    Front Shocks

Yes, it has a front sway bar. Control arm bushings have been replaced in the near past. The front end doesn't wander, although the the steering feels a little over assisted, like a Ford, but it holds a line. Just bouncy.

    Front Shocks

Thanks. I was leaning towards the KYB next. My understanding of torsion suspension adjustment is if you crank up the tension, you also bring up ride height. I'm just looking for a more steady ride.
