1960 fury Steering wheel / horn relay ground

I found the answer. Started over from beginning. Readjusted the steering box per service manual. I didn't have the steering box properly aligned to the frame which didn't allow the column to slip all the way down into the steering box. I gained about 1/8 to 3/16" more clearance between the turn...

1960 fury Steering wheel / horn relay ground

Pinched ground wire would be too easy, wish it was. I dabbed a small amount of ink on the copper ring the relay contacts and can see where it hits with the turn signal assembly when installing the wheel. It acts like the steering rod is sitting down into the coupling to far. Wheel will not go on...

1960 fury Steering wheel / horn relay ground

Anyone have a good detail photo or description of the steering wheel, spring, lock ring, bearing, etc., & related parts that attach it to the steering rod? My wheel is grounding (the horn relay) on the turn signal canceling assembly before I even put on the large nut. I had Steer and Gear...

    1960 Plymouth gas guage sender.

Bought a new sending unit from Classic Car Auto Parts. Gauge reads 1/2 full on empty , no gas in tank. Ohm meter reading is from 10 to 75 which is what Classic Car said it should be. Checked sender with two different gauges and both read same 1/2 full with no fuel in tank. Checked and have good...

OMG now I have to pull the head. What have I started here, you guys are too funny. I'll let you know what the bore measures, but it may take a while. In the mean time good luck finding a lefty willing to part with their treasured O'bummer sticker. LOL.

Engine pad and block casting numbers

Vin# has long been lost along with the car. All I remember was it was a white 4dr with tinted windows. Pulled engine and tranny and sent it the body to the scrap yard. The 727 Transmission looks the same as a 318 tranny, if that tells us anything.

Engine pad and block casting numbers

I pulled the engine and tranny abour 25 years and scrapped the 4 dr. Dodge. Now of course I wish I had kept the car. I was assuming the engine and intake were original to the car. According to information I found the 2x4 ram intake was only offered on the 383 and 413, so I was hoping this was...
