Swap I should have stated that the running 318 also has a working 727 still hooked up.......I can pull the 383 out and do some checking, and measuring, but I thought it might have been something someone had tried .

I have a running 318 setting in my floor that runs and was thinking of dropping it in the 66 Polara while we rebuild the engine (383) in it.....question is will the 318 drop in without any major problems????
