Looking at the online imperial club, under standard and optional equipment, it says lebarons had a vinyl top option. Vinyl Roof (Crown/LeBaron 4-Door Models) - $110.80 Now mine may have not came from the factory with one, but, did have one added at one time. The guy I got it from bitched about...

The black I think was a primer maybe....? Its actually red over gray.

Wow, that's crazy! It must have been painted a few times then cause that turqouise is definately there, I just assumed it was the original color. Pnt is for sure mm, I'll for sure go with that then. Also, I'll retake that pic. Thanks for the info.

Thanks guys lots of info and good ideas. I do agree about the formal look with the black, especially with the interior being black.... but the headliner was white, kinda weird. Does that mean the top was white? Can that info be found with the plate in the door?

Ya for sure, black is a pain... and for this car its too "on the nose" to me. Also I don't hate the turqouise I actually like it, id just hate to have a common color. Maybe this will help, originally it had a vinyl top and will again... black. Oh, and thanks!

Very true. She's allways saying that you don't see that color on cars from the era... and the turqouise is everywhere. Kind of in agreement there.

Well, now that my car is all one color, and not 15... I've been really thinking about paint. Originally it was silver turqouise, then was repainted roman red at one point. I like the roman red, and more importantly so does the wife...but i would like the car to be original as possible. Is one...

Are you getting good continuity in your switches? Power? I had to remake up all my connections going to my switches with bullet butt connectors. Worked out pretty well. Once I did that, the window that was slow went right up.

Thanks everyone for the welcoming! Well, details of the car go like this... I have allways wanted a imperial, every now and then id get the bug and try to find one. I came across this on craigslist, guy wanted $2500 for it. So with a pissed off old lady and $2000 to my name, I drove 45mins away...

So I figured out how to post a pic. Hehe. She's a little rough, but, I've already started body work. I paid $1800 bucks, she runs great, and is black plate registered. Love this car!!!
