Thinking of starting a you tube channel

Former YouTube addict here. Never had a channel or even made a comment. I spend enough time reading other people's, I was wise enough not to enter that rabbit hole. My thoughts- A somewhat knowledgeable videographer is a must, unless you want to spend 2-3 times as much time completing the...

    Dubious Trunk Repairs on ‘66

That 58 year old seal was breached 40 years ago.

    Dubious Trunk Repairs on ‘66

I would do what you have planned. Looks troweled on there! Possibly your car has always had the condensation problem and this was preventative maintenance. Did you get the condensation issue resolved?

Good call! The original he is trying to match definitely has a very dark stain, perhaps it has aged that way, but it looks as though it's always been very dark.

whats the worst car youve seen lately ?

I typically don't take pictures of the worst cars I see. You said lately, so the one that comes to mind would be the rivian I saw on the weekend, boy are those things ugly! Here's a picture of a "similar" Mopar convertible that was someone's pride and joy at one time. I believe it was a '66 Monaco.

I got the unanswerable questions you’ve been begging for

You are not going to find a step by step tutorial regarding your swap. Most who have attempted start with a rear drive only platform. If you want to go AWD, I would think the finished product would sit a few inches higher than stock, front and rear. This amount of work is not for the faint...

NOT MINE 69 Newport 6.4 Hemi

Wow, I don't know where to start. Are the strut towers welded to the fenders? How was the independent rear suspension attached, and how high does the car now sit? How to connect steering wheel to steering gear? HVAC? We'll figure that out later... From a wrecked Charger, to a wrecked Newport...

    Dragging brakes

How did the fluid look when you changed the master? Sounds like your caliper isn't fully retracting.

NOT MINE 1970 Chrysler Newport convertible in South Dakota (blue now beige)

What kind of condition was this car stored in? I've never seen such a consistently crispy interior. Better than mouldy in a way. Nature does its thing one way or another. Looks like the sun turned what was once gold paint to white, judging by the wheel left on the trunk lid missing the lock.

    That Movie

Nicely called! You have to love that scene though. The background, the cars, the blacktop, the angles, just the right length to match a lazerhawk song...

    NOT MINE Avanti

This is an original Avanti. It would have had a Studebaker V8, in the range of 260 and 280 cubic inches, some came turbocharged!

    NOT MINE Avanti

Cream and brown two tone! What were they thinking? I wonder how it handles with the 440. That's a decent amount of extra weight in a lightweight car.

I recently switched to "organic" cigarettes. No more factory filter-less smokes available in Canada. I feel much healthier.

    Cassette player restoration

If I am reading this correctly you're the original owner of your 1971 New Yorker? That's impressive! Did the replacement belts get your cassette player working properly? Do you have any pictures of the car?
