Yes! You can get windshields for most A,B and C bodies at Classic Auto Glass: (see the two attached photos) I bought one for my '69 C-300 a few days ago for $247 plus shipping ADVICE STEER CLEAR OF THAT OTHER COMPANY CALLED VINTAGEGLASS.COM - classic rip-off artists - the usual bait-and-switch...

If you can dedicate all your efforts to one vehicle you can get a heck of a lot done. I'm spread across several project myself and although every one gets done, man it takes years! Congratulations on completing it - looks terrific.

    1969 Chrysler 300 - emissions equipment question

It was built at Chrysler in Jefferson, Michigan and went up to Canada, stayed for its whole life until I imported it 2 yrs ago. All done properly using a customs brokerage, inspected to make sure all was original equipt, deemed to be exempt EPA and DOT, everything good at DMV except this final...

    1969 Chrysler 300 - emissions equipment question

Fantastic info - thanks very much. I'm going to re-read that a few times and make sure I have it all stored away. What about the guy who just bought his C-300 yesterday, all CA registered, yet it lived in Florida until 3 months ago and it has no stickers on the car? Makes me think perhaps I...

Wow - now that's interesting. maybe I should drive to Nevada and register it there using a friend's address. Then bring it back to California and register it here three months or so later.

    1969 Chrysler 300 - emissions equipment question

Well, I guess all information is good information even if it's bad news. Then my only hope is to take a photo of the sticker in place (and suitably aged) and send it to them - or maybe they might ask me to have the car - and existence of the sticker - inspected I suppose - no problem there...

    1969 Chrysler 300 - emissions equipment question

I know - insane question but is there any way to obtain a copy of the build sheet? Haha! crazy, like I said! I did get one for an old Mercedes once, years ago. I wrote to this guy in Germany and he sent me what looked to be a photo of the build sheet for my 1971 car!

    1969 Chrysler 300 - emissions equipment question

I can try that - they're not even asking for an inspection so far. The DMV local office inspected it when I first registered it a year ago and then sent my paperwork to Sacramento. I was waiting for the final version and title document to arrive but got his request instead.

    1969 Chrysler 300 - emissions equipment question

Yep, that's an accurate description of me banging my head on the desk! It just needs to be on Chrysler (Fiat now) letterhead and state my vin number and that the vehicle met all U.S. emission requirements in effect at the time it was manufactured.

    1969 Chrysler 300 - emissions equipment question

The green and white sticker doesn't seem to be there. I found the correct sticker part number for a replacement (see attached). Also my build tag is attached in case there's a clue to be found there. What the DMV's letter states is that they need a letter from Chrysler stating that the car was...

    1969 Chrysler 300 - emissions equipment question

Hello all, I've run into a snag. The California DMV requires proof that my 1969 C300 complied with the required US emissions when it was manufactured. It wasn't specifically made for California, (I don't think there was any difference back then) so I don't know what else might have been required...

    Blower motor replacement

OK guys - here's the super-easy way to service your blower motor. Start the engine and turn the wheels full right, shut off the engine. Remove the right front wheel. Now you cut an access hole in the top, rear of the right inner fender. I know - sounds like an ugly hack job but no, if you do it...
