Car will not start, unable to figure out why.

I've always used my cars daily. Every mopar I've had has always let me down with just one thing. It can be driving fine and I will park up somewhere, could be for 5 minutes or could be overnight but you get back in and it won't fire. I have to get out and pull or just move the wires to the...

    What is your daily driver?

I agree. Trouble was, 1952 Chevy powerglide auto wasn't good in low at resisting gravity. It worked though, many times.

    What is your daily driver?

But people did! I remember in 76 descending a mountain road in a 52 Cheryl coupe that I had to push myself back into the seat with the steering wheel and steering and brake at the same time. All with a single pot brake system! Scary stuff !

    What is your daily driver?

Thanks for the likes all of you guys. Well this 96 Roadmaster wagon i believe was bought probably from new by a guy called Rufus Frowde who is a musician and composer and I think is a musical director in the Royal palaces in London. It only has 67,000 miles on the clock and the condition of the...

    Recomended cookies!

Don't know whether its only me but the darned "recommended cookies" on this site have become rather tedious. Every single item that i want to look at on this site can only be done by tapping recommended cookies. This happens going in and out of anything at all that I want to look at over the...

    Power Window Motor Repair

I must say that non working power windows are a real pain in the *** but taking them all apart like this and getting them to work again is just so satisfying. Well done! It always helps others to do the same.

    NOT MINE 1960 plymouth hearse

This Hearse with intact fins also used to have roof lanterns. It was for sale in Birmingham, England about 30 years ago and was last registered with the DVLA in 1995. Not heard of it since. Had a 6 cylinder engine. This is one of three 1960 Plymouth hearses that I've known of since 1980 over here.

Tailgate window switch (dash and door) and glass direction ?

Its definitely doing the opposite of what it should be doing but before changing the switch or doing anything else try adjusting the solenoid up or down and find out if the switch is definitely no good.

Infos needed for tailgate removal (and others)

You will have to remove the lock. Prise the spring U clip sideways from the inside of the door with door open and window right up. The lock will then withdraw and you can disconnect the latch. Then I think there are 2 small hex screws that hold switch in position. When messing with any of this...

16 slot road wheel; where to buy lug nuts?

When I bought the Dorman lug nuts from Rockauto I also purchased a nice lug nut wrench and a deep socket to fit them. After installing them myself , just once, I sprayed them with WD40 and from that point on they all just shed their chrome plating. All down to super poor quality I think. We...

16 slot road wheel; where to buy lug nuts?

The Dorman (Chinese) lug nuts from Rockauto that I put on my car 2 years ago had rust on them after 2 months, after 2 years they have very little chrome left and have now been replaced by Mcgard lugs.
