    Lord of the road wheels!!!

Looks kinda like the pile of wheels I have. Out of a "dozen" found 4 that were true with no variations while naked on a tire machine. Now comes the part of cleaning, repainting, and polishing. Found a couple that were 15 X 7, along with decent looking trim rings for the wider wheels.

Do you know of any manufacturer of the colored rubber that goes down the side moldings?

    Smaller air cleaner?

I want to add I believe the vented cap was to introduce any fresh air into the crankcase should the engine not have enough blow-by to overcome the PCV valve. otherwise there would be a negative pressure and that is almost as harmful as excessive pressure there. Once the engine was stopped there...

Comment by 'TomTom' in item '1970 Plymouth Sport Fury'

What are the size tires and types? Are the wheels standard, I believe 6 1/2"? I have a set of wheels I was contemplating widening for a little beefier tires but yours look great. My 70' Sport Fury is Identical white 383, but is in need of complete restoration.

1971 Plymouth Sport Fury GT strobe stripes

What are the different suppliers of the "GT" stripe kits for a 1970 Plymouth Fury. I've given up on finding a supplier for the thin colored rubber strip that is about in the center of the body side trim. I am trying to restore a 70 Fury III convertible that I've added a 440-6 to it. I vaguely...

Chads Yellow Polara thread, New dual exhaust, wheels on!Yee!

On the subject of the oil pressure light coming on. There is a problem, and hopefully it isn't too big yet. I had a similar 71 Fury with a 360. The camshaft plastic teeth all sheared off and wound up in the oil pan/pump pick up screen. If you haven't already, you need to pull and clean the pan...

My 1971 Sport Fury GT, what to do, what to do.

Unless you are in need of money, exactly the minute after you sell your car you will start to regret it. Unless of course you made a profit, wanted to move onto something else, and or maybe just tired of all the meticulous work it takes to keep these old girls looking young.

    Battery issues

May be as simple as needing new brushes in the alternator. Extremely simple to replace. Sometimes can be done without even removing alt.

WANTED !970 Fury Big Block heavy Duty Radiator

Thanks for the info. Originally the car was a 318, but many years and parts later upgraded to the 440-6. This car has been stored in a barn for the last 25 years, so no telling how many nightmares. Most of my 440 parts came from an 70 Fury Interceptor. The 6-pack was a swap and trade deal, and...

WANTED !970 Fury Big Block heavy Duty Radiator

Was there a 4 core option? Also who and at what price for an aftermarket replacement radiator? Aluminum or copper? Which is best? Car is running 440-6 pack with air conditioning. Also using R-12 for A.C.

If I wanted 68 road wheels like this what am I looking for?

I'm fairly positive that the wheels you are searching were also used on some Chargers and GTX models. That said, the price will be out the roof if they are nice quality and original. I would recommend after market reproductions with the choices of offset, plus width, plus diameter you would be...

    100+ Mph bog down

I'd check fuel tank screen, fuel filter, fuel pump. Filter first. With my 6-pack car it would also lose out when wide open throttle. I wound up adding an electric pump just as the fuel line left the tank, and used the largest fuel filter I could but before it. Plus I had already replaced the...

WIW: NOS CHRYSLER ROAD WHEELS, TRIM RIMGS, DOMES, & CAPS

I believe that many years ago, the 1976 Cordoba I had used similar wheels to the 1970's Plymouth "Road Rally Wheels" However the center used a blunt cap instead of the smaller center which was raised and painted black in the lower ridges.

Comment by 'TomTom' in item '1970 Fury Convertible'

You had commented on an earlier article where you thought you had installed a 71 front hidden headlamp cover. You have the correct 70 one. I have both a 70 and 71. The 71 also has a low beam headlamp washer with brush.

    Convertible Fury - 1970

In the accompanying article you had mentioned that you added a 71 grill with retractable headlights. I believe you are using the 70 retractable set-up. I have both a 70 and a 71 Fury with each having retractable headlamp covers. The 71 also had a device which was a small brush which would swipe...
