    67 charging issue

I ordered a newer alternator as they cant find one for this car and im gonna wire in a newer electronic voltage regulator for it as I have those parts on the shelf. I guess I should modernize it a little bit while im at it.

    67 charging issue

Thanks for the advice! It was charging great when I went for a cruise and noticed a problem when my blinkers were on. At least I made it home before dark! Car hasnt been on the road in about 3yrs and I have been cruising it every night since I got the engine back in!

    67 charging issue

Just did the test and it started out at 12.72v with nothing on. Started the car with highbeams on and dropped to 12.25V. I unhooked the green wire and ran a jumper right to the negative on the battery

    67 charging issue

Got my car running a few days ago. Been doing great until tonight im cruising and my volt guage is around 12.5V. I get it home and put my tester on it and verify my guage is correct. I rev the car up and it goes up to 12.7V. Im suspecting my voltage regulator but i know nothing about these old ones.

    Its been a few years!

Been quite some time since I have been on this page. My 67 New Yorker decided to drop a valve 3 years ago or maybe more. I was in the process of buying my 1st house and its been a project on the back burner. I have done some work here and there as pulling the 440 out, getting the factory 915...

Greatest C-Body Project Vehicle Ever! (Possibly?)

And ive never seen so much Mopar content until these guys came around. Then junkyard gold came out and he shows a lot of fogotten Mopars. Even on Engine Masters and Roadkill Garage there is more Mopar content! I remember watching the powerblock when I was younger and it was always Chevies and...

Anyone See This Video? WARNING, IT MAY BE DISTURBING!

What a a**hole! I just picked up a truck that I have no idea why I bought it but for a few parts. I gave it to a friend just so it doesn't go to the crusher. My opinion is this guy should have gone into the crusher. Just a complete jerk and has no idea

Recommendations on new radiator for my 1968 plymouth sport fury

If you go with the champion just use your old rad as a overlay so you can drill the proper holes in it. Thats what I did and it was no big deal. Im happy with it. It was very fairly priced also. I am gonna add a pusher fan in the very near future and I think it will cure the heating up issues I...

Recommendations on new radiator for my 1968 plymouth sport fury

I had a 22inch 2core with no shroud also. Updated to 22inch 4core from Champion. Had to do some drilling to make it fit. Also went to fan clutch instead of solid state. When sitting still it warms up fairly quickly. Im sure a good pusher fan on the front would do wonders also but I just have not...
