    Down at the shop today working on the 66 Newport and and had a thought of swapping the 727 for a manual transmission. Came home to see if they made any and it looks like they were 3 on the tree or 3 speed auto? Thought I'd ask the wealth of knowledge here if there would be a manual...

    New member sayin hello!

    Never thought I'd own one either, but I kept driving by this 66 Newport and it grew on me, bought it on a whim, and can't wait until I get this ol' thing in better shape.

    Just starting on a 66 Newport 2 dr hardtop, but that my friend just makes me jealous and wish I had gone with a ragtop myself. Quality work and a great inspiration!

    Found a guy on ebay willing to part with one for $100 plus shipping, just got to run to the farm and double check that it's a 4 barrel. Thanks again for the help Polara.

    New member and new to Mopar. Looking for kickdown linkage for a 66 Newport. 383 four barrel to a 727. Found them online but $350 seems like far to much. Anyone have an extra or know of where I can pick one up? Thanks, Brian
