    Installing a fuel guage

Thank you very much for all the information! And yes. My temperature guage works fine. There is no movement at all when I hit the key. I replaced the sending unit a while back and no change. I’m kinda concerned about removing the instrument panel only because I’m worried I may open up can of...

Where Do You Guys Get New Replacement Brake Rotors for the 69 - 72 Fuselage C Bodies?

Not a fan of Rock Auto at all. Will never buy from there again for a multitude of reasons. As for me, I don’t mind paying extra for my parts if they have a lifetime guarantee. And also, if there is ever any kind of problem, I can make a phone call, talk to someone I know personally, and get the...

Where Do You Guys Get New Replacement Brake Rotors for the 69 - 72 Fuselage C Bodies?

I am in the middle of doing a front drum to disc conversion. If you have the 69 to 72 spindles, you can get the rotors at Autozone right now. Duralast Part number 5300. That number will cross reference to the 7012R rotor that you are hearing about. They are $128.00 a piece. I wouldn’t waste any...

    Flaming river steering coupler

I really appreciate the input fellas. It would have taken some pretty serious convincing for me to get one of those aftermarket couplers but still wanted to throw it out there. I honestly think those things are a total rip off. I can’t see how they are any advantage at all. And they want $250.00...

I am putting a upgraded steering box from Steer and Gear in my Polara. Along with every other steering and suspension part imaginable. I have a few friends that are telling me that I have to put a Flaming river steering coupler on to really make it right. As much as I have starred at my...

Timing chain....do I need to worry about it? If so how?

Even though this is unrelated to your timing chain, you may want to have a spare ignition control module if it hasn’t been changed. Or maybe change it and keep the original as a spare.

    1966 300 383 w/ 3 Speed Auotmatic

Pretty sure you’ll find it’s a 741. I think the 742 became more common in late 67 but I could be wrong About that

    Engine conversion help!

Hello Ben. I was just curious about your headers? I used Hedman shorties but still had to modify to clear the steering box? Just was wondering if you found something specific to C body?

    Engine conversion help!

My car has the original 318/727 power plant. I put a quik fuel carb, open plenum intake, cam and some head work. I ran 2.5 exhaust with shorty headers out the back as well. It is very RESPECTABLE! Absolutely not worth the money and hassle to big block it. Especially being a 4 door car. Drive it...

69 Fury 727 Auto Repair Hassle!

I have a 318/727 combo . Change the filter and fluid and that’s it! Whoever told you that it needs rebuilt is either a liar or just plain stupid. Immediately put the car in neutral as soon as you start it. Every time. I would be shocked if that doesn’t solve you problem.

    probably need a distributor...recommendations?

I have a 67 Polara small block car that I bought 12 years ago. I bought that Petronix conversion within the first hour of owning it. Couldn’t be happier! Literally haven’t touched it since other than replacing the cap. Highly recommend it to anyone! I think it was about $75.00 bucks back then.
