Want to convert 4 door hardtop to power windows

No response from that guy. He's in Texas and in in Michigan anyway. I'd probably have to pull the parts myself for this job. No hurry on it right now

Want to convert 4 door hardtop to power windows

I have a 71 monaco 4 door hardtop with crank windows. I'm looking to convert it to power. Anyone got a line on a scrap c body with power windows that will work for sale? Does anyone know if the power windows just have a different regulator or just a motor hooked in the same drive as the crank...

Is a 1968 chrysler marine 440 compatible with 71 monaco??

I got it on a stand. I'm about to take it apart. How did you sell those parts? Individually or as a package? What did you sell them for?

Is a 1968 chrysler marine 440 compatible with 71 monaco??

Yea stroker is a good idea. I think I'll do that if that crank isn't something I want to use. Especially if I have it rebuilt. I'd sell the 383 and other parts to pay for some of it

Is a 1968 chrysler marine 440 compatible with 71 monaco??

I'm changing it to normal rotation. The crank flange is the same as my car engine. I'm going to just change the cam, distributor, timing to chain and oil pump. That should be good unless I have to polish off those oil knurls on the crank. All the other parts on the car should work and I have a...

Is a 1968 chrysler marine 440 compatible with 71 monaco??

I got the engine for pretty cheap. The guy said it was right rotation. Its a fresh water engine. The heads are 906. I'm going to tear it apart for inspection. Maybe just replace the crank bearings and head gaskets. Not sure why they have rtv all around the heads. Apparently one was rebuilt. I...

Is a 1968 chrysler marine 440 compatible with 71 monaco??

I have a 71 monaco with a 383/727. I can get a 68 chrysler marine 440 for a decent price. They rotate opposite direction apparently but was told you just need to replace the cam and distributor to make it normal. Never used one before. Does anyone have any experience or input on using this...

The French Fury and her new blower motor

Just solder the old connector on. Easy as but connector which suck. You can use a butane lighter to do it if you don't have an iron and shrink tube the connection. Thats the professional way its done at dealerships

Busted 3/8 bolt from trans bellhousing to engine. Fix or forget it?

The car doesn't eat transmissions but had a bit of a vibration. We'll see how it does with the new flex plate and tc. Thanks for all input

Busted 3/8 bolt from trans bellhousing to engine. Fix or forget it?

I got it all together. Turned out that hole wasn't lined up right. The strange part was the mating surface on the engine has that dip next to that bolt hole. We will see how it works.

Busted 3/8 bolt from trans bellhousing to engine. Fix or forget it?

Engine machine zone to bellhousing has this wedge mistake. I have never seen this.

Busted 3/8 bolt from trans bellhousing to engine. Fix or forget it?

Took the teans back off.. no broken bolt. Chased the thread with tap. But found an uneven mating surface on the block which is a reman 71 block based off a 66 383. I'll probably just put in the 440 after this fun revelation.

Busted 3/8 bolt from trans bellhousing to engine. Fix or forget it?

Yea that's what I figured. Better take care of it while the trans is out. Cross my fingers and hope it extracts without too much drilling and heli coil work. I know better but was hoping someone would say otherwise. Six bolts is already not many.
