Plymouth Fury I 1974 Sedan - interior: seats/door panel measures

Having no original panels and seats we had to use only photos and official vehicle catalogue. We are aware that it is impossible to achieve the factory result, but at least the current progress with door panels and rear bench looks fine for summer daily driving.

A New Book on the Incomparable One!

Wonderful book. I've ordered a digital copy at Amazon. TY for posting the link here cuz that's how I found it. Who knows maybe this book is the one more reason for the getting an Imperial to my garage someday. Well done!

Plymouth Fury I 1974 Sedan - interior: seats/door panel measures

It seems on mine there are upscale hubcaps (W11). Thanx for the dealer sheet. BTW, steering wheel S76 looks nice. Here is another local '74 Suburban. 1974 Plymouth Fury Custom Suburban - АвтоГурман

Plymouth Fury I 1974 Sedan - interior: seats/door panel measures

Well, there is a logic in your point. It seems that the most common and simple trim line becomes a sort of a rarity. Unfortunately, I am not able to save the original engine and interior of mine vehicle. The are cracks on the engine block - possibly because it was used with water inside in the...

Plymouth Fury I 1974 Sedan - interior: seats/door panel measures

I see. It really makes sense. I hope I will be able to get a fender tag in not so distant future. The vehicle is 700km away from me and it was a quest even to get the photos placed above. We are in touch with the owner, but he is busy and doesn't have too much time to interact with the vehicle...

Plymouth Fury I 1974 Sedan - interior: seats/door panel measures

Unfortunately, I have no information about the car except the fact that it was imported into the country during the Soviet era as well as my vehicle. Both cars are almost alike so maybe they were of special order party. I've got to check the vin of the black one to confirm this idea. What is...

Plymouth Fury I 1974 Sedan - interior: seats/door panel measures

Due to the fact that I am in the process of complete refreshment of the interior and since I was not able to find HQ photos of the Fury I's interior, I asked my colleague to take measurements from the seats and door panels of another local car. I would like to share the visual result here. Maybe...

WANTED 1974 Plymouth Fury 1 - visual/photos of seats and door panels

It is springtime and soon there will be a need to restore the benches and door panels of my 74 Fury I sedan. Would it be possible to ask someone who has the same trim level car to send me some detailed photos of seats and door panels pattern/outlook? It will be a very helpful visual standard for...

Does anybody know what is the proper decision for a radiator and what aftermarket manufactuter offers a good choice? While browsing ebay, summitracing etc I didn't find any replacement options that wil bel a 100% good option. Was my search a bad one or there's a problem to find something...

    Friday tunes..

A good example of electronic music that would be a nice attachement to some sort of cyberpunk / post-nuclear movie.

    WANTED 74 Fury I Sedan

Thank you for the link. I plan to buy the left mirror in the few days. To be honest I'm almost sure that it would be the remote one. There's a question why the radio in my Plymouth is from the different year of production. To be honest, I am not sure that it is possible to answer this question...

The owner of black fury promised to check his tag as soon as possible. Unfortunately, it wont be asap:-( All he can provide by now is the vin number - PL41K4D166197 As for the mirrors: my vehicle has something strange instead. Mirrors are really important for the daily driving here, so I've...

    WANTED 74 Fury I Sedan

Marty Mopar, thanks for the proposal of your NOS hood ornament. I'll keep that in mind. 71Polara383, I think I know that car. It was found in some barn a couple of years ago. I do not know what's going on with it right now. The owner(s) planned to swat the engine to something more authentic...

    WANTED 74 Fury I Sedan

It looks interesting. And it seems that police car presented inside the link has the black interior colour. The same could be inside of my vehicle in its former days. There are 3 more '74 Furies including gran coupe and suburban wagon that are still alive in the local classic community. If there...

    WANTED 74 Fury I Sedan

wonderful. Ty for the info. I will contact him a bit later today as soon as i get to my desktop pc. As for the interior - i am almost sure that it was black, since the lower parts of door panels are untouched and black. As for the paint job... it is awful unfortunately in many aspects, but I...
