    I painted the splines using Hobby Fine Brushes sold in a package of 10 @ Hobby Lobby they are small plastic handle with sponge tips. They worked very good i think they were $4.99 a bag.

    Omni if your interested I have a set (4) of the AMC Tornado caps that I polished& repainted the black spines that I was going to put on the Chrome Road Wheels for my wagon .I kept the Magnum 500's & sold the road wheels. I also have 2 that need refreshed.Looking to get $150.00 for all 6.

    I replaced my power steering pump & brackets a few years ago because of the same issues your having. I bought the complete setup with brackets, pump & hoses from Boullchon Performance @ 843-744-6539. My car is also a 68 with a 383 engine.

    Ignition cylinder lock replace. What brand to get?

    i just went through this with my 68 the ignition lock cylinder broke without warning. I called AMS Obsolete Parts cost $35.00 shipped overnight for $35.00 so i could attend a multi day Station Wagon worth the extra cost.
