Thanks for the tip Commando, It seems hard to find quality sheet metal anywhere in the hobby.I realize the best pieces to use are from an original car, but getting hard to find in the wrecking yards now.

Yes it really works great and almost fool proof. It works well on all pot cast pieces. Excellent for pot metal fender extension repair on the 50-70's cars. I would use some on my Fury if I had Pot metal parts on it. lol.

You can try Muggy Weld. It has saved a lot of pot metal pieces that can no longer be found. You can even plate over it if so desired. Perfect for painted fender extensions. muggyweld.com
