66 fury radio cover panel color

Looks like they all turned out very nice. I have two radio delete panels so will send one of them out for re-finishing if I can find a place that does it right.

66 fury radio cover panel color

Ross did you do that yourself or have it done somewhere? I installed a NOS left side gauge bezel that I found, however the right side (radio delete) bezel needs to be re-finished.

66 Fury two door sedan door panels

Yes the 2 dr sedan is not all that common let alone finding a salvage one with good door panels. Might be possible to modify panels from a hardtop. I would be happy to send you any measurements you may need.

66 Fury two door sedan door panels

Correct in saying 2 dr sedan door panels are unique as they are cut to fit around the door frame. 65 and 66 had different style door handles and arm rests as in pics below, otherwise the size and shape of the door panels should be the same for post cars in both years. I highly doubt 67 and 68...

Need headliner material and new front seats

Getting the product they can be slow. I did my interior early in the resto process so wasn't in a hurry. Yes sent them my door panels and had the headliner locally. Door panels were exact and overall I'm very pleased.

Need headliner material and new front seats

SMS supplied original OEM fabric for my seats and headliner, and they restored the door panels. I had the seat covers made locally.

    66 B Body seats in a 66 Fury?

Not sure what Plymouth these seats are out of but they were in my 66 when I bought it. Luckily the original bench came along with it. The outside mounting bolts fit the original holes in the floor and they drilled the inner 2 holes closest to the hump. Fit seemed ok.

    Under dash insulation - Hushmat??

How important is the fibre insulation they put against the firewall and up underneath the dash at the factory? Most of it came out during the course of the resto and I don't really want to put the old stuff back in. The guy at JB Auto sold me on Hushmat which is a self adhesive thin rubber like...

    Leather cleaning and conditioning info?

Haven't tried that one. I use a lanolin hand cream from New Zealand in the winter to keep my fingers from cracking to pieces and it works great for that. There are lots of good leather care products out there but Lexol is the go to product for me because it works great on my saddles and tack.

    Leather cleaning and conditioning info?

I have owned a saddle shop for the last 18 years and the product I recommend is Lexol. They make a liquid saddle soap, and i really like the conditioner (brown bottle). Very light viscosity and it works its way in nicely. If the leather is dirty or stained use the soap first, then wait a while...

    WTB - 65 Fury dash w/o pad

Doggonit that's why you're the Commando. That post just saved me a bunch of looking or worse, finding, paying, and discovering it doesn't fit. Who'd a thought the two years would be different in such a subtle way. I prefer the clean metal look (even though it's not year correct but wtf) so the...

    WTB - 65 Fury dash w/o pad

Some 65's came without a dash pad thus no clip holes along the top. I am looking for one of those for my 66 if anyone knows of such a beast.
