    Sloppy Column Shifter

Wanted to see if anyone had a remedy to fix a loose column shifter. I run a modified 727 in my 68 New Yorker with a reverse pattern valve body. Im having a hard time getting the linkage adjusted. Seems like the car will want to jump out of park or 3rd depending on where I adjust it. I cant find...

    Trick flow heads?

Thanks!, the car is around 4200lbs without me in it. Due to the way the new yorkers hood is bowed, there is about an inch of room for an air-screen. I am putting nitrous on the car so a plate is going to move it up. Ill have to think abound finding a hood scoop that doesn't look ridiculous...

    Trick flow heads?

Hey Guys, I wanted to put a post out to see if anyone else has ran Trickflow heads on their Chrysler's. Last year I built a 446 high comp with their heads and drove it all summer. Did not have a chance to make any passes yet but should be ready in the spring. Specs: Mopar forged crank...

    Upgrade Suggestions?

Well ive had my 68 New Yorker for about 5 years now and finally have the engine bay tore apart to fix some firewall rust. I figured while i was at it i might as well do some cheap upgrades to the engine. Its a low mile motor with about 20,000 miles and numbers matching. It has a rebuilt stock...

    Rear main seal leak

I have a 68 New Yorker with a standard 440 with 30,000 miles. This car has been sitting most of its life until recently. When it sits it leaks pretty good. Im assuming its the rear main seal because the valve covers are dry along with the oil sending unit. Is there anyway to easily drop the pan...

    RV 440 and 727

The heads I have look like a normal 440 heads with no mounts for a water pump. And the water pump looks like this... Which is a standard big block water pump housing. Ill pull off the valve covers and try to get the number.

    RV 440 and 727

I recently got a 440 engine complete with a 727 trans. The block was cast in 74 and the numbers read 4006630. I plan on putting this in a car someday. What I noticed was the spark plugs were smaller but the heads looked like a 906 cast. I did some research that on some RV 440's there was a...

    NO steering 68 Chrysler

Just took it for a successful test drive. I ended up getting a new federal pump and also installed a new return hose. It immediately bleeded the air and worked flawlessly. There were no leaks and full power in idle from side to side. Now my new yorkers ready to go for the cruising season!!!

    NO steering 68 Chrysler

Sorry for the late reply..... Heres some pics of the pump and it is a federal pump. I had my cousin come over to look at it and his opinion was to take the belt off and manually spin the pulley by hand. There was some resistance like it there was something blocking it. I did notice when I...
